The Man From Bundoran – Fiddle (adult learners read description)

I posted this once before but removed it when I decided that things should be “Classical.” Anyway, I want my adult learners to know that I didn’t start this type of fiddle playing until six years ago when I developed neck problems that made shifting and vibrato almost impossible (see my web site for more info). I became a student again – and am still a student. Never give up and never stop learning. I pulled the tunes from a Kevin Burke Fiddle book available on Ebay. They are The Man From Bundoran, The Miller of Droghan and Connie O’Connell’s (Reels)

    Great fiddling, …
Great fiddling, Prof! Excellent triplets, too; Kevin Burke would be proud! Like you, I move between fiddliong of various kinds and more classically-oriented material. The world of the violin is far too big and beautifully varigated to follow only one path! Always enjoy your teaching videos; first class instruction!
